Hachioji Central Park
I often go to Hachioji Central Park when I play tennis with my friends. There are two tennis courts here. We don't have to pay for the hire of the tennis courts(^_^;) In addition, we don't have to proceed to use them\(^o^)/ It is very easy to use them, I think♪ If you can play tennis and have time, I recommend you to go to Hachioji Central Park and play tennis once. In this connection, Hachioji Central Park is in Hachioji!! [84 words]

A TV program review
Recently, a lot of TV programs are televised. I watch Music Station every week. Do you know it? Now, I will talk about it.
Music Station is a music TV program. It is televised from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Friday. Tamori, his real name is Kazuyoshi Morita, and Mariko Dou are hosts of it. A lot of guest singers broadcast in Music Station. For example, Kumi Kouda, Keisuke Kuwata, Ayumi Hamasaki, Ken Hirai and so on. The guest singers talk to the hosts or other ones. It is interesting for me to listen to their talks. After that, each of the singers sings a part of a new song. By the way, Music Station has several features for viewers. For instance, 'single CD hit ranking', 'music topic' and so on. The former shows the popularity stakes of songs. I think it is useful for you to know recent popular songs. The latter tells us the latest information about music. In each season, Music Station is televised as a special program several times. In this connection, it is televised live on TV every Friday.
http://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/music/
I talked a lot about Music Station. A time when it is televised isn't so late. Therefore, I think it is relatively easy for you to watch 'Music Station'. If you have never watched it, I recommend you to watch it. You will like Music Station!!! [231 words]

Book Review 1-12: The Battle of NEWTON ROAD
I read The Battle of NEWTON ROAD. This is written about a battle for houses between a woman who lives in an English town and a civil engineer.
Newton Road is in an English town. Sally Robson who lives there, near her school is a teacher. People who live there like each other. One day, she saw her neighbors, Helen Taylor and Paul Johnson. They were talking about an important public meeting which will be held in the Town Hall on Saturday. She heard it. She thought she didn't like it, because she couldn't understand the importance of it. Saturday came, and the people of Newton Road went to the Town Hall. There was a man here. 'My name's Wood. I'm a civil engineer. I'm going to build new houses and a new road for you. However, first, I'm going to knock down the old houses in Newton Road,' he said. 'We want to stay near our friends and our jobs. That's very important!' Sally said. Sally and Wood quarreled a lot. She thought a battle broke out. He told people who live in Newton Road the fascinations of new houses and a new road many times for a long time. Four months passed. He couldn't wait, so he went to Newton Road with men who have yellow machines, which are big and can knock down houses. 'I'm going to build the new road!' he said. 'No!' Sally said. The people of Newton Road were sitting in the road. Since they did so, he went to the gas, electricity and water companies. Then, 'You can stay here, but you can't have gas, electricity and water,' Wood said to the people. Sally went to a telephone, and talked to a newspaper man about this. Next day, 'THE BATTLE OF NEWTON ROAD FOR HOMES,' the newspaper said. In other words, this appeared on it! Because of this happening, Sally and the people won the battle! A meeting for the people in the Town Hall was held a few days later. Many people went there. Wood came too. 'I'm sorry for my rudeness about the previous happening. As a result of talking to my boss, you can have your friends and neighbors, but you can have your new houses too,' he said to the people. Sally and the people were very happy to hear that. Ultimately, all things were no problems!
The Battle of NEWTON ROAD is interesting for me. There is a scene why I think so. It is the battle between Sally and Wood in the Newton Road. I think it may be probably the climax of this. I want you to read this and appreciate the interest of this!! Incidentally, I think The Battle of NEWTON ROAD isn't long, and is easy to see because pictures of characters are printed on each page. Book Review 1-11: Streets of LONDON
I read Streets of London. There is a story about a woman who lives on the streets. In this connection, the scene of the story is in London.
Tina was good at drawing pictures, so she went to art school. For six months she was happy. 'You are good,' people said. However, one day, she had no money for her room! Therefore, she went to a lot of shops to find work, but she couldn't find. On the first night, Tina stopped at a shop door and sat there. Then, a man hit her on her arm. 'This is my place. Don't come here!' he said. She was in a box on the streets of London. Her home was there at that time. One day, she met Jimmy on the street. He played some Irish music. She talked to him and made friends with him. Next day, they worked in Trafalgar Square. Tina sold pictures which she painted. She got a little money. On the day, Jimmy said 'I'm going to Birmingham for a few days to see a friend.' Ten days later, a man asked her. 'My name's Martin. I can find work for you. I have an art studio. Could you work with me?' She went to his studio. Then, she drew such as sad, old and young people who are on the streets. At last, Tina got famous and had a boyfriend, Jake who is a famous photographer! One day, Tina met a young homeless girl. She painted pictures too. They were very good, so Tina took her to Martin's studio. Her name is Rose. She was beautiful. She painted some good children's pictures. However, she was a difficult girl. Because of this, Tina and Rose often quarreled each other. After Rose got famous, she left the studio. Then, she got a famous model. It was a difficult time for Tina, but she wasn't sad then. Tina started to think she wanted to see Jimmy again. She realized friends were very important when she thought so!
The story made me think about the importance of friends and mutual help when I read it. There is a point which I thought it was interesting. It is the process from Tina's life on the streets to her life in the studio. It isn't so difficult for you to understand the content of Streets of LONDON. Therefore, what do you say to reading it? I think you will like it!! [410 words]

♪A restaurant review♪
I sometimes go to Hamakatsu with my family. Do you know there? Hamakatsu is one of pork cutlet restaurants. Now, I will talk about menus of Hamakatsu mainly.
First, Hamakatsu has a lot of main menus. For example, 'Mensch Cutlet', 'Pork Loin Cutlet', 'Chicken Cutlet', 'Fillet Cutlet' and so on. Compared with other main menus, 'Chicken Cutlet' is relatively cheap and light. A menu which is popular among customers is 'Fillet Cutlet'. It is often sold out. Incidentally, there are also menus such as 'Ginger Pork' and 'Fried Shrimp' there. I recommend you to have the former, because you can have it even if you don't like ginger very much!!
http://www.hamakatsu.jp/menu/set/index.html
Next, Hamakatsu has some side menus. For instance, 'Fried Chicken', 'Miso Soup With Pork And Vegetables' and so on. Of course, side menus include desserts such as 'Coffee Jelly' and 'Apple Juice'. In whole, side menus are comparatively high price.
http://www.hamakatsu.jp/menu/side/index.html
Finally, you can order some take-out lunches in Hamakatsu. Mainly, you can order kinds of pork cutlet lunches. The price is cheaper than main menus. However, I have never ordered take-out lunches, so I want to order them once!

Book Review 1-10: Ricky Martin
I read Ricky Martin. This is written about his background. The reason why I read this is that a friend of mine recommended me to read Ricky Martin.
On December 24, 1971, Enrique Martin Morales Ⅳ was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was called 'Kiki' by his family. When he was five years old, he liked to perform in the street with his friends. A year later, Kiki went to an audition for a TV commercial. He passed the audition, and he did eleven commercials in five years. Then, he auditioned for the band, Menudo, after a year. He did well at the audition, but Menudo didn't want him in the band. 'You can sing and dance well, but you are short. We want tall boys in the band,' they said. However, Kiki tried to pass the audition many times. Then, he passed the audition, and was in the band in 1984! Kiki had a good time with Menudo. Every month, they performed new songs and dances. Kiki wanted a new name. From 1985, fourteen-year-old Enrique Martin Morales Ⅳ was Ricky Martin! Ricky finished with Menudo in 1989. After Menudo, he went back to school. Then school finished, he went to New York, away from his family. After a year, a producer from Mexico City said 'Please come and sing in a theater show.' The show was Mama Ama el Rock. Ricky moved to Mexico. He liked to act, dance and sing. In Mama Ama el Rock, he did these three things well. Then, he was a Mexican star! However, Ricky wanted to be a success in English too. In 1993, he went to Los Angeles. He made a new CD, A Medio Vivir, with Robi Rosa who is a friend from Menudo. Maria which is one of the songs from the CDs was a big success! However, there was no time for a vacation! Ricky went back to New York in June 1996. He did some concerts. 1998 was the year of the soccer World Cup. Ricky finished a new song with his friend, Robi Rosa. It was La Copa de la Vida--Ricky's song for the World Cup. He performed the song before the first game. People gradually liked the song. Then, in February 1999, he won the Grammy Award, which is an award for a music performer. At last, Ricky was a world star!
I think Ricky is a great person. In Ricky Martin, there is a point which you may think he is great. It is that he made sincere efforts to realize his dream!! This story isn't so long and is interesting. Therefore, I think you like this if you read this once!!! [450 words]
