Book Review 1-06: DAVID BECKHAM

I read DAVID BECKHAM. This is written about the Beckham's story, you know.

Beckham is famous for a footballer. He had played at Manchester United and Real Madrid. By the way, what prompted him to start to play football was that his father gave him a football and a football shirt when he was little. He practiced football again and again, so he was a good footballer in 1986. Then, Beckham went to a football school and played there for five years. After that, he was spotted and recruited as a player at Manchester United. In November 2000, he was a captain of England! The year when he married Victoria who was a famous singer in London was 1999. She went to a Manchester United game and talked him. However, he didn't say much to her at first. They met and talked many times after games. Then, they got friendly each other. At last they were in love! In 1999, Beckham and Victoria had Brooklyn, their first son. Then, 2003 was a very important year for Beckham. The reason why it was very important for him was that Real Madrid bought him for 25 million ponds!! In other words, he moved there!! He was in full activity there.

Beckham will play for Los Angles Galaxy in America. Do you know it!? I have never known some things about him until I read this book. For example, the year of their marriage, the prompt which he started to play football and so on. I think he is not only handsome but also kind and a hard worker!!! What do you think of him?? My tennis racket

This is my tennis racket☆ My parents bought it for me when I was a high school student♪♪ The reason why I needed it is that I wanted to go to a tennis school then!! Book Reveiw 1-05: Mike's Lucky Day

I read Mike's Lucky Day. There is a story between a man and a woman in this book.

Mike is an assistant van driver. He went to a shop and met Jennifer, who has long hair and beautiful eyes. He fell in love with her at first sight! He thought he wanted to ask her to come to the cinema with him. However, he couldn't do that because he was ashamed to do that then. Therefore, he asked her by the telephone. The day came and Mike went to the cinema. However, he arrived there very late and Jennifer wasn't there. He thought she was going to be angry with him. The next day he telephoned her, but she didn't wanna talk to him. Therefore, he wrote to her. The content of this letter was 'I'm sorry, can we start again? I'm going to be at the Broadway Coffee House the next day at 8:00. Can you meet there? Please!' On the day, Jennifer was there! Mike was happy and went there immediately. He and she talked happily there!!

Terrabal driving school

Terrabal driving school is a famous one in Kumamoto prefecture. The reason why here is famous is that here is broadcasted many, many, many times on TV, I think!(^^)! There are a lot of kind and funny instructors here. To tell the truth, I had been here to get a driver's license for a month and half a month(*^^)v I will introduce you here.

First, You must take 10 subjects and drive a car in the Terrabal course at least 12 or 13 times as a first stage(>_<) Second, you must take two tests! The one is a test about traffic rules, cars and bike. Another is a driving test in the Terrabal course. After passing these tests, you can get a temporary driver's license♪

Third, you must take 16 more subjects including a first-aid relief operation and a discussion of danger prospect and drive a car in a road at least more 19 times as a second stage(>_<) In this connection, you will drive a car in a expressway and in a road at night once(*^_^*) Finally, you must take a graduation test! This content is a driving test in a road. Paris and America

My favorite countries are Paris and America.

First, talking about Paris, I have an image of Paris which has very beautiful views. Therefore, I like Paris very much. However, I have never been here! I want to go here sometime.

Book Review 1-04: THE MISSING COINS

I read THE MISSING COINS. I'll introduce you this story.

Pete and Carla are students in Bath which is a very old city in England. Walking in a little street behind Bath, they find a little shop there. There are some old coins and stamps which are valuable and expensive in the shop window. Pete is looking at the stamps and he wants to start collecting them.

After that, they go to a cafe. The shopkeeper comes here and asks them. 'Coins are missing! Did you steal them?' However, they didn't steal them. They looked for a suspect. The truth was that Tracy who works in the shop stole them!! She shifted the crime to them well!!

This story is interesting for me. The point which you should notice is exchange of views among Pete and Carla and the shopkeeper. Since this story is easy for you to read, I think, I recommend you to read it once!!! [158 words]

Youme town

Youme town is one of a shopping mall center. There are many shops here. Then, I'll introduce you RODEO(^_^.)

RODEO is a clothes shop. There are mainly men's clothes, accessories, belts and so on here. However, women's customers sometimes come here and buy something. The prices of goods are relatively reasonable. I often go here.

Convenience stores

Nowadays, many convenience stores are built here and there.

These pictures show Seven Eleven, LAWSON and hello!every one.

First, Seven Eleven is famous for a place in which we can use the ATM(Automatic Teller Machine). It is convenient for us, I think(^^♪

Next, LAWSON is famous for snacks such as 'karaage kun', 'juicy fried chicken' and so on. Young people often buy them relatively.

Finally, hello!every one is famous for bakeries and a cafeteria. I find some people to drink something or eat here.

Fast food restaurants

There are some fast-food restaurants. I will introduce two ones♪

First, KFC(Kentucky Fried Chicken) is popular for a fried chicken restaurant, you know. There are a lot of menus. I like Twister very much!(^^)! The prices of menus are a little expensive for us, but tastes are great, I think.

Second, MacDonald is a famous hamburger restaurant. There are menus as many as KFC. I recommend you Salad Dish because if you have it, you will have both fried or grilled chickens and salads(^_-)-☆ A price of it is a bit expensive. However, prices of other menus are reasonable.

Both of them are easy for us to use. I wanna go to KFC or MacDonald with my friends again sometime!!!

The Lake Ezu

This picture shows The Lake Ezu. Do you know here or have you been here(?_?) A firework display used to be held here. The view of it is beautiful!(^^)! It isn't so deep and wide. There are some people who fish or row a boat in the morning and afternoon. If you go here in the night, you may be able to see a Japanese-style roofed boat used for recreation(Yakatabune)☆☆ [72 words]

Tennis and Table tennis

My favorite sports are tennis and table tennis.

First, talking about tennis, when I was a junior high school student, I belonged to a soft tennis club. Then, I play tennis as a hobby. I will play it for a long time.

Second, talking about table tennis, when I was a high school student, I played it in the physical education class. As a content of it, I and other student stroke, smash and so on. After that, we played some games each other rest of the class. [88 words]

Book Review 1-03: PRINCE William

I read PRINCE William. This book is written about his story.

Prince William is the son of Princess Diana. He experienced many things. For example, being sent to a hospital by hitting on the head, divorce of his parents, the death of Princess Diana in a car accident and so on. One day, he is going to be the king of England, but he doesn't think about it all the time.

In this book, there are two impressive things for me.
The one is the divorce of Prince William's parents. I think he was very sad and couldn't stand it then!
Another is the death of Prince Diana. I didn't know it until I read this book. this is also unendurable for him, I think.

Campus Life

I'm a sophomore of KGU. I'll talk about an English class which I take, lunch time and the time when I have no class.

First, I'll talk about an English class.

This is Reading. In this class, professor Kamimoto teaches us how to read English newspapers in the second period of Wednesday. Concretely speaking, he teaches us grammar, acronym, alternative words and so on. Of course, we do have to bring a dictionary every time! In addition, we have to do some assignments on time. For example, watching news and looking a Japanese newspaper every day for the news quiz, doing homework of the textbook and so on.

Second, I'll talk about lunch time. I go to the school cafeteria of KGU or LAWSON with my friends. When I go to the former, I often order 'katsu rice'. The price is 370 yen. I think it is reasonable. Other prices of menus are also reasonable. When I go to the latter, I often buy two rice balls or a lunch and something cold to drink. However, there are usually many people in both places!!

Finally, I'll talk about the time when I have no class. I often go to the KGU library to do my homework. However, I talk to my friends occasionally. this time is precious, I think!!!

I have a good time now, but in future, I hope I have a much better one!!!! [236 words]

A day of GW

I played with my friends who students of KGU(Kumamoto Gakuen University) on May 4.

First, we got together in a friend's house and played video game for about an hour(^^)/

Second, we went to VIP to bowl and played bowling for about 90 minutes. I scored 120)^o^(

Finally, we went to Shimotouri by bus. After we got there, we went to Lotteria to have lunch. I ordered one orange juice and two hamburgers. I thought the prices of these menus are a little expensive. Then, we went to TSUTAYA, TOWER RECORD and so on（*^_^*）

I thought I had a wonderful time!! I want to play with same people again!(^^)! [113 words]

Suizenji star lane☆★

Suizenji star lane is a bowling center. It is in Suizenji, you can imagine from the name. It takes 10 or 15 minutes from KGU here by bicycle. When we bowl here, we have to write down scores in a score sheet(>_<) It bothers us, but if you don't know how to write down scores in a score sheet, clerks tell you. Therefore, it isn't necessary to be worried about it＼(^o^)／ The price of one game is 300 yen. However, if you go here on Monday, Wednesday or Friday, you will pay 100 yen by one game☆★☆ It is very cheap, I think(^^♪ [109 words]

Book Reveiw 1-02: HULK

I read HULK. There are 2 main characters in this book.

One is Bruce. He is different from other men. This is that when he gets angry, his body grows and turns green! By this change, The Hulk is born.
Another is Dr.Elizabeth Ross. She was mountain-bred.
Then, when he was 32 years old, he met her. She likes him and he likes her. However, one day, he got angry in front of her because of much stress. She looked him and screamed because his body grew and turned green. After she knew his secret, he and she didn't get along well with each other. However, going through with various things, they got along very well!!

In this story, I think there is a main thing which I was attracted. This is 'How did Bruce and Dr. Elizabeth Ross get along very well?'. This book lets you think about a person's true thought, I think. [157 words]

The student's cafeteria of KGU

Nowadays, I often go to the school cafeteria in KGU with my friends in lunch time. Since the prices of all menus are reasonable for us, there are always many people in lunch time. In other words, here is popular among students. I often order 'katsu rice'. What do you often order when you go here(?_?) By the way, in addition, here is used as a place of relaxation. Therefore, we talk to our friends, study and play here(^^)v [79 words]

TSUTAYA

TSUTAYA is a book, DVD and CD shop. I go there to borrow some CDs about once a month. In this connection, I went there to borrow the day before yesterday. TSUTAYA is in many places. Therefore, it is easy to use(^^) For example, in Kengun, Hamasen, Hikarinomori and so on. To borrow CDs or DVDs, you will have to make a membership card. [64 words]

Book Review 1-01: Project Omega

I read Project Omega. I will introduce this story right now.

Charles Hatfield Baker Ⅲ was a very rich man and the boss of a company. One day, he disappeared on his way office. Julia is his daughter and 18 years old. After she knew he disappeared, she looked for him. Then, she went to his office and found a red file: PROJECT OMEGA. It was that the directors of the company planned to make a lot of money and buy more power. After she knew it, she started to be aimed her life by them.

Reading this book, it is interesting for me because there are three main points which attracted me.
The first is where Charles Hatfield Baker Ⅲ was.
The second is why he disappeared.
