Memorable experiences for me

I had various experiences until today. Among them, I will talk about 2 memorable ones.

The one is that I could get to be good at English by an English cram school teacher. Until I was a first-year junior high school student, I was poor at it. However, he taught me it very kindly many times, so, thanks to him, I didn’t realize I got to be good at English. If I hadn’t met him, I wouldn’t go to Kumamoto Gakuen University now.

The other is that I did a trial lesson. Of course, I had never done it till I was a freshman. I knew the difficulty of teaching students by doing it a little. In addition, I also knew I was very nervous when I taught them. I think I want to do it one more time.

These experiences were very precious for me. I want to have a lot of various experiences in the future. [158 words]

A TV program

I like watching TV very much. My favorite TV program is Wakattoland, which is broadcasted on Saturdays. 5 hosts appear on it. Among them, Kohei Takamura and Yumi Ogata are more famous. As its programs, there are such as ‘cineland’, an introduction of some movies, ‘gachi one fight’, battles of quarrel, and ‘must buy’, an introduction about clothes which university students wear. My high school days

I had gone to Toryo high school in Kumamoto for three years. When I entered it, I felt lonely because there weren’t friends I knew in my class. However, I made friends through some events soon. Teachers of Toryo high school gave us a lot of assignments every week. Therefore, it was hard for me to finish them. When I was a second year, I had to study harder than before. Particularly, I studied English, Chemical and Mathematics very hard. In a school festival, my classmates including me performed ‘water boys’. Although we practiced during summer vacation, it was very hard, but I felt a sense of achievement after it ended. [111 words]

The class of Writing Ⅳ

I use websites, blogs, a reading logbook (the orange book) and so on in the class of Writing Ⅳ. They are very convenient and necessary for me now. Particularly, blogs are the most important text for me. When I write essays or portfolios, and if there are any problems, I check Mr. Beaufait’s blog and my friend’s one. Then, the orange book is the second important text for me. I have to write more than 18 book reviews in fall semester. In addition, I have to keep logs on it when I finish reading books. [96 words]

Culture

There are a lot of cultures which we haven’t known yet in the world. Such as American, British, Chinese and Korean cultures are relatively known to everyone who is Japanese. Last year, I learned about other culture a little in KGU’s class. In addition, I am learning about them this year. However, teachers are different between the former and the latter. I have to know about other culture, so I have to make efforts to understand other culture. [78 words]

Friends

I don’t have so many friends, but I have two best friends. The one goes to Oita University now. He is an elementary school’s friend. I have been friends with him for more 8 years. When he goes back to Kumamoto from Oita, I play with him. For example, playing tennis, bowling, going to karaoke and so on. Another goes to Kumamoto University now. He is a junior high school’s friend. I have been friends for more 7 years. When the summer vacation, winter vacation and spring vacation comes, I play with him. For instance, playing table tennis, going cycling, playing games and so on. (105 words)

Appetite

Fall is called 'autumn eating'. I think the reason why it is called so is that there are a lot of delicious foods in season such as chestnuts, matutake mushrooms and sauries. At this season, some people have an increased appetite. To tell the truth, in my case, I have an increased appetite. Eating a lot at this season is a good thing for growing children. Don't you think so? Anyway, I think fall is a good season for eating foods. (81 words)

School festival(2nd time)

KGU’s school festival is called ‘takumasai’. Last year, I went to ‘takumasai’ to see my friends and buy something. First, I went to a yakitori stand. I met a friend of mine there. Of course, I bought two grilled chicken(yakitori). Next, I went to a stage. ‘Minnade pon’ was held there. I watched it for 30 minutes, I think. In addition, a quiz game was held. It was very interesting for me. However, I think it was much a greater time if I went to with my friends who don’t belong to any clubs. Therefore, I will go to this year’s ‘takumasai’ with them. School festival

This year’s school festival, FLOW, one of a famous musician group, will come to KGU, I hear from my friends. I am looking forward to seeing FLOW and listening to FLOW’s songs. By the way, last year, I went to the last year’s school festival. When I was walking around in KGU, I found some my friends. I talked to them. After that, I bought some things. For example, yakitori, juice and so on. This year, I will go to the school festival with my friends because I went there alone last year. (93 words)

About summer vacation

I did various things, and went to various places with my friends or family. Now, I will talk about some things.

First, I went to Miyazaki prefecture for a drive. We saw the Miyazaki prefectural office.

Second, I played bowling at Suizenji Star Lane with my friends. I got worse score than usual. I think I want to get better score next time. (63 words)

About Gmail

I use Gmail in the writing class now. I will talk about it.

If you want to use Gmail, you have to get an account for it. In addition, you have to set a password. If you do these things, you can use not only Gmail but also Blogger. By the way, of course, you can e-mail by Gmail. Moreover, you can chat! I think the capacity of it is enough.

It is difficult for me to use Gmail well. Can you use it well? I think it takes time to be used to using it. However, I think I have to make efforts more. [105 words]

About an impressive teacher

I have met such as Japanese, English and Mathematics teachers before. Have you met impressive teachers? Incidentally, I have met some impressive teachers. Now, I will talk about a teacher.

Mr. Mutsuo Kuniyasu teaches Mathematics in high schools. He is over 60 years old! In his class, he often talked funny things, so I laughed at them and enjoyed the class. In addition, he taught us formulas efficiently. Therefore, I could learn them. He also knew a lot of things except Mathematics. For example, games, sports and so on. I thought he was a great teacher. I’m glad that I have met such a great teacher. I hope you can meet an impressive teacher!! [114 words]

Summertime

Do you like summertime? I like it very much. There are some reasons why I think so.

First, a lot of CDs which are up-tempo are released. I like them better than CDs which are slow-tempo.

Second, when I have hot foods in summertime, I think they taste greater.

Third, there is summer vacation. Therefore, we can play a lot with our friends. Incidentally, I play tennis, video games, go cycling, and so on. [76 words]

The rainy season

The rainy season starts every June. It rains a lot in June. By the way, do you like the rainy season? In this connection, I don’t like it. There are two reasons why I think so.

The one is if it rains, we can’t go out without an umbrella. Therefore, it is very troublesome.

Another is that driving car, riding motorbike or bicycle is dangerous for me. However, scenes such as flowers are beautiful.

I like summer, so I want the rainy season go as soon as possible. [88 words]

A season which I like

I like summer very much. There are two reasons I think so.

The one is that I like a firework display! It is held near the Castle Kumamoto every August. I have never seen it, so I want to see it once with my friends! In addition, I like to do fireworks with my friends. Recently, I don’t do.

The other is that I like buckwheat noodles served on a flat tray (zarusoba) and thin wheat noodles (somen). When I have them in summer, they taste especially great, I think. [90 words]

Animals

I like cats, dogs, and dolphins.

First, talking about cats, I think the smaller cats are, the cuter they are. I often see wild cats near my house. I want to have a cat, but my parents don’t allow me to have.

Second, talking about dogs, I would be scared against them. However, I am not scared now.

Finally, talking about dolphins, I want to watch them once. I hear we watch them in Amakusa, so I want to go there and ride on them sometime. [88 words]

My family

I will introduce about my family.

There are four people in my family, father, mother, older sister and me. My father is a cook and works in Kumamoto civic hospital. My mother is a housewife. My older sister is an officer and works in Shokei University. Each of my family has a driver’s license. My father likes to watch DVDs, so he sometimes buys some ones. [66 words]

Paris and America

My favorite countries are Paris and America.

First, talking about Paris, I have an image of Paris which has very beautiful views. Therefore, I like Paris very much. However, I have never been here! I want to go here sometime.

Second, talking about America, I have an image of America. It is that there are a lot of people. In addition, food and drink size are larger than Japanese ones. [70 words]

Tennis and Table tennis

My favorite sports are tennis and table tennis.

First, talking about tennis, when I was a junior high school student, I belonged to a soft tennis club. Then, I play tennis as a hobby. I will play it for a long time.

Second, talking about table tennis, when I was a high school student, I played it in the physical education class. As a content of it, I and other student stroke, smash and so on. After that, we played some games each other rest of the class. [88 words]

My favorite artists are Every Little Thing, misono and B’z.
